Cincinnati Kosher BBQ Cook-off & Festival
SUNDAY, AUGUST 6, 2017 from 4:30 - 8:30 PM at ADATH ISRAEL. Enjoy a fun-filled day with friends and family, but most of all, come to eat!  This event is supervised by the Cincinnati Kosher Vaad Hoier of Cincinnati. You do not have to be Jewish or keep kosher to partake in the fun!
Rabbi David Wolpe

Rabbi Wolpe's work has been profiled in The New York Times, and he is a columnist for Rabbi Wolpe is the author of eight books, including his new book, David, the Divided Heart, a finalist for the National Jewish Book Awards, and optioned for a movie by Warner Bros. FEB 12  Kick-off Event - Bat ella Sings Debbie Friedman
6:30 PM at Adath Israel Congregation
Experience one of Israel’s rising stars in a  community concert kicking off the celebration of Adath Israel’s 170th anniversary; a
one-night-only performance by the internationally known Israeli singer and performer, Bat ella. The concert, L’chi Lach: Bat ella Sings Debbie Friedman, is part of Bat ella’s World Tour, which also includes stops in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, NYC, and Bridgeport, Connecticut. "Jewish Cincinnati Then and Now"
A Bus Tour Through History with Rabbi Gary Zola 12:45 - 5:00 PM Bus will leave from Adath Israel. Visit historic sites and learn about the Jewish history of Cincinnati. Rabbi Gary Zola is an expert on the subject and will be leading the tour and discussion.  Cost is $15 per adult and $7.50 per child (10-13 years). MAY 7 Susan Weijel, Deputy Director of Yemin Orde

Hear about the successful Yemin Orde Youth Village, located on 77 acres atop Mount Carmel in northern Israel. Yemin Orde is home, school, and safe haven to 430 at-risk and immigrant youth from around the world. Presentation and discussion in the sanctuary, followed by a dessert reception sponsored by the Lena and Sol Wise Fund. The event is co-sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.

Past, Present, and Future of Adath Israel's Brotherhood and Sisterhood
6:30-8:30 PM

A night honoring all the past living presidents of brotherhood and sisterhood. Dinner will be served. Entertainment will include a skit, slideshow, and presentations.
