FROM THE EVENT!
Bring
your dog* and your dog’s family to the Red Dog Spa & Resort (5081
Madison Road—west of Red Bank; exit 9 off I-71) for a doggone good
time! We’ll have a huge dog park for the dogs and people. The
League for Animal Welfare will be on hand in case you want a
pet but don’t yet have one. We’re also planning a K-9
demonstration, a
“dog” grill out with our very own Brotherhood, opportunities for
a tour of the Red Dog Spa & Resort, and a whole lot more! You need
not have a dog to enjoy the fun.
Blessing for all of
G-d’s Creatures
At 4:30 p.m., Rabbi
Wise will lead a blessing for all of G-d’s creatures.
Put on your best “I
don’t mind paw prints on this” outfit, and please join us.
You need not have a dog
to enjoy the fun!
Petzeits and
Honorariums
We are hoping to raise
funds to support The League for Animal Welfare, a local
no-kill shelter, and we will be publishing a special “Petzeits
and Honorariums” newsletter. Stop into the main office for a
Bark Mitzpaw slip or send your check with “BARK” in the subject
line. Let us know the name of the pet, the type of pet (cat, dog,
bird, etc.) you are honoring or memorializing, as well as to who the
contribution should be attributed.
Cutest Pet Contest
Submit your pet’s
picture for
a cutest [type of animal] contest on our website by emailing
pictures with the pet’s name (and your name) to Tara at
taratirzah@gmail.com
So far, there is not
much competition, and Tara’s cat, Syd Mischievous, is getting a
little smug! Give him some competition!
*We
need to keep Red Dog Spa & Resort kosher! Red Dog will require
all dog attendees to be current on their vaccinations, and all dogs
over the age of 6 months must be spayed or neutered. Requirements:
DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and a negative fecal exam within the last
year. Puppies must be over 3 months of age and have had 3 sets of
boosters and bordetella. You can easily have your vet fax this
information to us at 513-792-5085. We will provide Red Dog with a
list of verified dogs. If you don’t get this to us before the event,
you can bring the records with you to the event, but we must
verify the “hechsher” on your dog before he or she can enter the
park!
