High Holy Day Adult Education Classes
with Rabbi Wise
Our rabbis knew, as we do, that significant opportunities
require considerable preparation. Therefore, they designated
all of Elul, the month immediately preceding Rosh Hashanah and
Yom Kippur, for such purposes. The following classes are
presented by Rabbi Wise for the same reasons and in the same
spirit--namely, to enhance the meaning of the High Holy Days for
us, and to deepen our experience of them.
Rosh Hashanah
Class
Wednesday, September 17at 7:30 p.m.
or
Sunday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Rabbi Wise will teach us the order, purpose and meaning of our
Rosh Hashanah prayers and the laws, customs and symbols of the
holiday.
Yom
Kippur Class
Sunday, October 5 at 10:30 a.m.
or
Monday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Rabbi Wise will teach us the order purpose and
meaning of our Yom Kippur prayers and the laws, customs and
symbols of the holiday.
Please contact the office, so we have a count
of how many will be attending at 513-793-1800
