Start Earlier with Selichot Saturday Night September 4th
Never had the chance to experience Selichot because of the late hour? The tradition is to start late to "awaken" your soul as we get ready for the "Days of Awe". Last year we tried a little bit earlier start time and we received great feedback. We will start with a delicious dessert reception again this year, and the service should conclude by approx. 11pm. Please join us for this special evening:
Saturday September 4th
8:30 pm (approx) Maariv ends with Havdalah outdoors (weather permitting)
8:45 pm Complimentary dessert reception with music by Dr. Deborah Netanel and the String Celebration Trio.
9:45 pm Traditional change of Torah covers.
10:00 pm Inspirational service led by Rabbi Wise, Mitch Cohen, and the Adath Israel High Holy Day Choir
11:00 pm Shofar blast.
