Rabbi Jonathan Perlman, a long-time member of Adath Israel, will be leading a musical and meditative Shabbat morning service on Saturday, August 28 from 9:45-10:30 in the chapel. The service will use Rabbi Marcia Prager’s Siddur for Shabbat Morning that includes a transliteration and translation into English of all the prayers. The guitar-led songs and niggunim (tunes without words) will be those composed by contemporary Jewish songwriters. Rabbi Perlman will also lead a short study about prayer as part of the service. This service is in-person only.
