Tashlikh is the ritual casting of crumbs into a body of water at the beginning of the new year. It reminds us that renewal is possible, that personal transformation can happen.  It is a truly unique, moving, warm experience. Tashlikh is also a wonderful multi-generational family tradition.

Set the mood for the High Holy Days and experience Selichot.

The music of the Selichot service  engages our hearts, minds and souls providing us with an opportunity for personal contemplation and reflection.

Selichot is a hopeful beginning to our season for soul searching.

Our Adath Israel Choir is made up of congregants and under the direction of Mitch Cohen, provides musical inspiration for our congregation during our High Holy Day services. Click here to learn more or to get involved!

The Choir

It is a long-observed tradition to visit the graves of dear ones before Rosh Hashanah. This both comforts and give us hope for the year ahead.  Everyone is invited to share in honoring the memories of the departed.

Cemetery Services

Between Musaf and Minchah on Yom Kippur afternoon in Marcus Chapel with Dr. Fred Wagshul, Stephen Dann, Trinity Johnson, Zahava Rendler, and moderated by Joyce Kamen. Adath Israelites will share their unique, powerful stories of personal transformation experienced along their Jewish journeys. The program will deepen the Yom Kippur experience as the stories reveal astonishing connections to Jewish history, the yearning for acceptance and belonging, spiritual awakenings, and finding courage, optimism, and comfort in Jewish tradition.
