Kids Making Cookies For Good
Sunday, April 11, 2021 • 29 Nisan 5781
12:30 PM - 1:30 PMZoomOpen to all kids!!! All 5th-12th graders are invited to make your cookies together over Zoom for Cookies for Caregivers on Sunday, April 11, at 12:30 PM, but any child or family is welcome to participate!
The Cincinnati Chapter of Cookies for Caregivers was formed at the end of January with the purpose of recognizing and thanking frontline and essential workers and first responders during the pandemic. This organization originated in Pennsylvania by two dads and has blossomed to over 100 chapters across the country, including Alaska! They are then packaged in individual bags with labels and delivered to our recipients (nursing home staff, hospitals, MD offices, urgent cares, social service agencies, fire and police, Fed Ex and UPS, mail carriers, the list is endless.) The cookies that Adath Israel makes will go to the JCC special care staff as well as Cedar Village!
Your child or family will bake at least 48 cookies together no earlier than April 11 (if you want to make them earlier, please freeze them!) and deliver them on April 11 or April 12 to their Summit Park or Harpers Point locations. Please use safe food handling and hygiene practices and NO NUTS please. Check out the google form for more information or email Phylicia at Phylicia@adath-israel.org. To sign up to help Adath Israel fulfill this Mitzvah, please fill out this google form no later than April 5th!
