Rabbi Neil Gillman's, z"l, book, "Traces of God, Seeing God in Torah, History, and Everyday Life," will guide our discussions. Topics will include: faith in a silent and hidden God, mundane miracles and normal mysticism, Divine wrath and Divine compassion, the Jewish people's covenant with God, arguing with God, when prayer is problematic, moments of darkness and despair, religious passion and religious fanaticism, suffering and evil, confronting chaos in the temporal world, death, hope and redemption and more.
