Adath Israel Passover Community Recycling Challenge
To support efforts to responsibly declutter our homes and lives, Adath Israel's Green Team is partnering with the Cincinnati Recycle and Reuse Hub for the Adath Israel Passover Community Recycling Challenge.

How to participate
Now through May 1, 2022, Adath Israel is collecting the following items:
- Depleted writing utensils: used pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons, markers, glue sticks (not bottles)
- Plastic utensils
- Denim: any condition accepted
- Footwear: Flip-flops, shoes, boots, sandals, etc. (any condition)
Place items in each individually labeled collection bins. Bins are set up in the lobbies of the Religious school. Outside bins will be under the portico by the parking lot entrance of Adath Israel.

Here are examples of some of the hundreds of other surprising items the Cincinnati Recycle and Reuse Hub will accept when you visit their Cincinnati facilities in Lower Price Hill:
Items accepted for Free:
- Used Swiffers (dirtier the better!)
- Eye glasses
- Gift cards and old credit cards
- Styrofoam
- Brita filters, packaging and pitchers
- Squeeze pouches and Capri Sun-type drink pouches
Items accepted for a fee:
- Car seats (remove straps and cushions)
- Bike helmets (remove straps and fabric)
- Electronics

Thursdays, 12pm - 6pm and Saturdays, 10am - 2pm.
